    For high-performing students, 国产精品 Canberra offers an exciting range of undergraduate degree options in Arts, Business, Computing and Cyber Security, Engineering, Science, and Technology, known as the Chief of Defence Force Students Programs (CDFSP). These unique programs have been designed to provide academically gifted students with a rich and challenging educational experience that will develop their critical thinking and research skills.

    As with the standard degree program, CDFSP has similar objectives and learning outcomes, but extends the educational principles to a higher level. Students will be exposed to research in their discipline areas and will be offered significant extensions to the ideas and analyses explored in the standard program. Students in CDFSP will conduct research projects in their later years at the appropriate level, integrating research into the standard undergraduate degree.听 They can develop their full potential by working closely with academic staff on research topics of mutual interest.

    Students in the CDFSP will work closely with academic staff to complete individual research projects related to their interests. This outstanding program will reward students with a unique award upon completion of their degree.

    All students enrolling in the CDFSP are expected to maintain a high level of academic performance over all semesters to remain in the program. Students who don鈥檛 maintain the required level of performance will be transferred to the standard degree program, with credit for all courses completed.

    Admission to these programs will be via the standard degree programs above.听 Students will be notified by Student Administrative Services of CDF Student Program transfer options upon acceptance of a standard program offer.

    Credit for previous studies (Advanced Standing)

    Credit Transfer is also known as 鈥楢dvanced Standing鈥 or recognition of prior learning (RPL). If you鈥檝e previously studied at another university and wish to apply for credit transfer, you must submit an application along with the below supporting documentation to Student Administrative Services (SAS) at the time of your acceptance of offer via email to sascanberra@unsw.edu.au.

    • Course Outline (This document must provide course synopses, including aims and objectives, contact hours, texts and references. It鈥檚 usually provided to active students on the institution鈥檚 learning platform).

    Students who intend to submit a Credit Transfer application will need to enrol in the standard 1st year courses until their outcome is received.

    Credit Transfer applications must be finalised prior to the commencement of Semester 1. This allows time to amend your enrolment before the end of week 1 to avoid late enrolment fees ($250). Please allow 3-4 weeks for the processing of your Credit Transfer application. Incomplete applications may require additional processing time.

    Applicants for the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business are assessed on their educational qualifications for admission purposes and will receive written advice on the outcome of their assessment.

    Navy and Airforce applicants for the Bachelor of Computing & Cyber Security, Engineering, Technology or Science will be assessed on both educational qualifications and a Maths Skills Check (which will be sent on receipt of this application) to determine levels of assumed subject knowledge.听 Students will receive written advice on the outcome of their assessment.
